Why We exist?

Pastor Augustin and Helene Tuzolana are pleased to welcome you to the “Hope Restored Church – Swahili Service” which was inaugurated on March 23, 2014. On this special occasion, missionary Turner L Wayne from Bakersfield, California was the keynote speaker with his interpreter Evangelist Hezron Mchenya from Rancho Cucamonga, California. Our senior Pastor Jack Sampier was the overall event facilitator and overseer.

Seeking to fulfill God’s calling in their hearts, Pastor Augustin and Helene Tuzolana started the Swahili service ministry at Hope Restored Church with the goal of helping fellow Christians, majority of whom are foreigners from African countries which use Swahili, Lingala, and French as their languages of communication.  When invited in American Churches, these believers find it difficult to understand English. Many give up and opt to remain in their homes on Sundays.

Aware of this challenge, coupled with the passion to serve God’s people from Africa who are continuously being offered asylum in the United States, we are trusting God for a successful future of this ministry. We therefore would like to welcome you and your family and friends to remember to stop and worship with us whenever you visit San Diego, California.

Also we exist to inspire leaders by recruiting, training, and launching them into ministry.  (Ephesians 4:11-12 ) (2Timothy 1:6 ; 2:2) (Acts 13:2,3)
